May 27, 2024 - Anna's Hummers and Puya Coerulea Bromeliad Blooms

Back in May, I was driving through Ladera and saw these beautiful and unique flowering plants in one of our neighbors front yards. I got out of my car to check them out and the owner came out of the house.

I let her know that these are one of my favorite flowering plants and that I love to watch hummingbirds feed on them. She was very friendly and gracious and said I could come by anytime to take pictures of the hummingbirds feeding on her plants.

So I went back and got these shots. I hope you like them!
