In response to my Lazuli Bunting Nextdoor post, I received some requests to join me on a walking bird tour to see the Lazuli Buntings.

On the walk up the hill to the Buntings, Noriko spotted a beautiful swallow. It was a bit far away, so we could not tell which kind of swallow it was. I was only able to find out once I downloaded and edited it on my computer. It turned out to be a beautiful Violet-green Swallow.

It was a very hot Friday morning so the Buntings where not out in abundance like my previous trip to this location but we could hear them in the distance high in the trees and down the hill of mustard seed plants.

We also spotted the Northern Flicker below. One of the most beautiful birds in the Bay Area.

I very much enjoyed my morning bird walk with Terry and Noriko
