Have you ever heard of the "Rushing of the Grebes?"
It's something that happens every November to March and is a mating and courting ritual for the Western Grebes. Went with my friend Richard to go check it out.
Two or three grebes race side by side across the water in unison with their necks gracefully curved and bills pointed to the sky. It seems that sometimes it's males racing and a female looking on and other times it might be a male and a female racing.
