A Stanford professor reached out to me asking me if I can take him to see some owls. I knew of 3 different owls in my area within a 2 mile radius but never thought of taking people on an owl tour. So we set a date and I took him on a private tour to see the barn owl, the great horned owl family and nest and the western screech owl.

It turned out to be a great evening and I took the pics I captured and posted some of them to nextdoor. I posted Friday around 3pm and after putting the kids down, I logged into my email and I had over 15 requests for owls tours! By the next day afternoon, I had over 30 requests and by Sunday I had over 50 requests for owl tours!

Stop No. 1 - Female Barn Owl

Stop No. 2 - Great Horned Owl Family - the owlets had just ventured a few feet out of the nest.

Mama GHO

Stop No. 3 - Western Screech Owl
